If you love food, you probably don’t need an introduction to Australian celebrity chef, restaurateur, and television personality, Curtis Stone. You most likely recognize him from his television appearances on cooking shows like Take Home Chef and Top Chef Masters. Chef Curtis is also the owner of acclaimed Los Angeles restaurants Maude and Gwen, celebrated for their seasonal, ingredient-driven menus.
Beyond the kitchen, Chef Curtis launched his cookware line with HSN in 2012, becoming the #1 brand in the Kitchen category. Starting with sleek, functional cookware and tools, he expanded to kitchen electrics in 2014, introducing Dura-Pan nonstick cookware in 2015, Dura-Bake nonstick bakeware in 2017, and Dura-Electric nonstick kitchen electrics in 2018.
In June 2019, Curtis Stone Foods debuted on HSN, adding Australian grass-fed meats and high-quality seafood to the lineup. The assortment now includes items like salmon, scallops, lobster tails, meatballs, sausages, and seasonings. And in 2021, Chef Curtis ventured into the wine industry with a curated selection from Vintage Wine Estates, making him a truly formidable culinary entrepreneur.

“My chief goal when creating my HSN line has always been to make cooking fun and hassle free for the home chef,” explains Chef Curtis. “Holidays are a stressful time already, so my new products this season aim to take one thing off the list, by making hosting and prepping your holiday meals enjoyable and easy.”
“Many of the new holiday items are also perfect gifting options for anyone on your list – and we’ve taken it a step further by offering several items that already come with a beautiful gift box or as sets of 2 so you can gift one and treat yourself to one as well.”

Chef Curtis is set to return to HSN during Black Friday Weekend, making an on-air appearance on November 30th to debut his latest line, with another spotlight scheduled for December 14th.
In December, Curtis will be back again with more holiday gifts including special edition cookware pieces as last minute gifts to get in time for the holidays. This will includes his 1st electric chopper in his line, a gold accented saute pan, a knife set in gift boxes and more.
We caught up with Chef Curtis to talk about his new line, holiday hosting tips and more. Here’s what he had to say.
What are your favorites of the new holiday line and why?
The pie and bundt makers are one of my favorites because of how versatile they are. Whether you’re making mini pumpkin pies for your upcoming festivities or going the savory route with leftover turkey pot pies – the options are just endless. They also each come individually gift wrapped, so easy to use as gifts for your loved ones, or keep one for yourself.
Every chef needs a quality knife in their kitchen, which is why I created one for the holiday season designed for precise cutting for all of the delicate foods we eat this time of year. The handle has microdots indented at the major pressure points, providing extra grip, as well as giving the perfect balance and weight to make holiday food prep a breeze.

Any holiday cooking tips for new hosts?
Preparation and organization are key in any kitchen. With complex meals and multiple recipes cooking at one time for the holidays, it’s a must for me to spend time before I start cooking, to prep my ingredients and cooking essentials ahead. This saves me time once I start, having everything within reach and ready to be used – and also makes cleanup less of a hassle.
Most important tip this holiday season — have fun! Cooking is meant to bring people together. Don’t let the stress of hosting take away from the time with loved ones. Gather in the kitchen and don’t be afraid to put them to work. The kids love contributing with small tasks and contributing to the meal.
What’s a good go-to recipe of yours for the holidays?
I love a good risotto for many reasons. When hosting, it’s an elevated meal that can be made in only 30 minutes, so you aren’t spending all of your time in the kitchen but are still serving something delicious and hearty to your guests. It’s also adaptable – you can make it vegetarian, add in different cheeses, seasonal veggies or proteins of your choice all based on your individual preferences.

It’s also one of those one pot wonders so keeps the washing up to a minimum. With the colder weather coming, it’s also a perfect warm meal to serve with a nice glass of wine.
